If you can't read that, it says: "Why Now Is Prime Time For Direct Selling" (by the way, my boat is named Prime Time)  ;)

And in small print is says: "In 2010, direct selling companies generated over $125 billion in revenue in 150 countries through more than 75 million men and women who are changing lives serving others. This is the story of direct selling."

Wow. Talk about credibility. Talk about power. This was an insert in every Wall Street Journal "in the United States" two weeks ago on a Friday. Interesting timing. That's quite a different story than the unemployment report, huh?

So I went out and tracked down this Wall Street Journal piece for us. Yep, for me, you, all my subscribers here at my blog and in my newsletters. I found out that the insert was sponsored and created by Direct Selling News. AND... I found out you could buy packs of twenty five for $20. I just got mine in the mail the other day. Awesome piece.

Here's my view of what's happening here.... we have an aging population and we're about to hit a period here in the US where there will be the biggest surge of people turning 60. At the end of the day, they are NOT going out and buying a franchise for a half a million dollars and they're probably not going out and starting a new company at this point unless they have unlimited capital and unlimited time. And they're certainly NOT waiting years and years for a return on investment from either.

This goes for our younger generation as well, the pre-30 generation. A recent Newsweek issue called them the "lost generation" because they're totally stuck. They are having the hardest time finding jobs and careers, and for the same reasons sited above, they're most likely not going off and buying a franchise or starting a company.

So a Direct Selling business is now, no longer becoming an "option" for many, but a must, in my view. There are almost no other choices for the great majority. Plus, there is no other industry with a low start up cost, high-income potential, and one that gives you the true business skills of the smartest and wealthiest Entrepreneurs in the world - communication skills and selling skills. That's the cornerstone of the Direct Selling industry. Try succeeding in business (and life) without either of those two...

My suggestion to you, if you are a Direct Selling Entrepreneur, grab a stack and find a way to get them into the hands of your prospects ASAP. I haven't seen stronger tool than this in years.
