I just got back from New York City, now off to San Diego...
Each quarter in New York City my partners and I host a private Internet Marketing Mastermind Event for about 15 - 20 of our CarbonCopyPRO members. We usually have attendees from all over the world, this time, people from five different countries. One needs to qualify based on sales production to attend.
In a nut shell, they get to Carbon Copy the strategies of the Pro's in an intimate environment in the Big Apple for two days and then go home and implement. We also help them get "clear" on WHY they do what they do while helping them to define their mission and their message. For those who are accepted, life changes for them...BIG time.
We call it the "10 For 10" Mastermind Event because the mission is to get at least 10 people to $10k per month online within 90 days. It happens almost every time. Its incredible actually. You ought to learn more about this if you're not familiar with it...
...Now off to San Diego for the Memorial Day weekend here in the US for Frank Kern's "List Control" Internet Marketing event and some down time in So Cal with a few of my good friends. If you know Frank Kern, you know this event should be pure entertainment, yet killer info as well, along with the world's most established Internet Marketers all in one place. Nice. I should have some awesome info next week from the event. Stay tuned...
Anyways, enough about my ridiculously fun travel schedule... ;) I want to leave you with something here today that is stuck in my head. I read this a few weeks ago and it's stayed on my mind ever since. In fact, I can't stop thinking about. It scares me actually...
I think it can have a profound impact on you and your business. Its called "Reverse Evolution" (even sounds scary).
It goes like this...
"Success makes many business sins possible. Recessions reveal them. Arrogance, sloppiness, selling things not well matched with your identity, or, truthfully, not serving your customers well. When you succeed at getting customers to trust you and look to you for certain things, certain values, certain experiences, and you become deviant, "Reverse Evolution" takes hold. Success brings responsibility. Refusal to accept it send success away."
So "Reverse Evolution" is essentially going backwards due to laziness and neglect.
See why that statement stuck with me? Makes A LOT of sense, yet most will never look at their lack of success this way. Its very revealing... and it can be painful. It scares me because it made me realize how easy it is for anyone to fall into this "trap"...
Reverse Evolution.
The key is to catch it early... real early. It's like a disease. The earlier the better... or it'll be deadly.
